1. Appeared before? Wikileaks (today).
2. Importance? Violations of federal law are being ignored.
3. Audience? U.S. citizens, veterans groups, Congress, watchdog groups everywhere.
4. Verification? AFGE Local 1745, 512-326-6898.
5. Why leaked? Internal agency watchdogs are sleeping.
6. Urgency? Urgency is relative; should we tolerate a multi billion-dollar defense contractor profiteering off of veterans care dollars?
Contracting out of federal agencies is nothing new, except when a defense contractor oversees Veterans Affairs employees -- with the consent of the VA's Inspector General! Now Northrop-Grumman stockholders can enjoy a stake in creating AND caring for America's wounded and disabled veterans. Why let a handful of silly federal laws get in the way?
