I am quite sure this video is not online here as everyone necessarily approves of the content. You might consider your understanding of this portal. Agreed, the movie is shocking, and that on many levels. While I agree that parts of the so called "islamic" movement (how much that has to do with actual Islam remains another question) are considerably dangerous, I am also at least as shocked about how much such a cheaply fabricated, openly propagandistic and shallow movie is attracting people. The Suras presented are lacking any context, and you can even find statements relativating Wilders material just looking to the next line of the Sura. Not really in the interest of Wilders to present that I guess for his propaganda, and you already fall for it. You cant have taken more than 10 minutes dealing with this subject, and thats something I personally worry about much more than a crazy muslim running wild. It's people like you blaming our problems today to retarded ancient understandings of the world. The more people fall for this illusion, the lesser we will solve those problems with an understanding of the world of the 21st century. And the more you will have made Geert right.

It's just a film! Do you beleive everything made in Hollywood? Open your minds both ends. Beside, who this film will serve, ask questions before judging, before judging anything.

For the sake of argument, anyone who watches this short film would be strongly advised to also watch Al Mouftinoun, a video made immediately in response to Fitna.

While it is important that Fitna is made available (even if only for the reason that it has been censored), please understand that it contains highly prejudiced overtones and makes a sweeping generalization of Muslims, the majority of whom are quite peaceful and do not actually want to destroy all of the western world.

Please! It is hostile rhetoric like that which makes terrorists out of men. The Christian bible also contains many violent themes, as do other holy texts. The issue here is not religion, but extremism. By marking the entirety of Islam as violent (even if it may condone violence), we only serve to fuel religious tension and hostility that drives extremists to destructive plans. In the ultimate goal of both worldly peace and religious freedom, we must respond by condemning not destructive beliefs, but destructive acts.

This is no film, and does not deserve all this attention. Just some news clips and stolen material. Take the beheading of Nick Berg for example, every intelligent person knows it was faked. In short this is disgorged TV trash.

I believe this was a well crafted propaganda stunt that throws a spotlight on the worse aspects of islam. A 15 minutes film cannot possibly explain the complexity of the radical islam phenomenon and how exactly theology fuels this phenomenon. What it does very well is show that a problem does exist. Muslim default reaction is to forbid and consider blasphemy any scrutiny of islam thus making serious limitations a less confrontational criticism of islam. This situation let to an accumulation of tensions where many non muslims were feeling targeted by very obvious bigotry and violence with clear Islamic origin, yet, could not openly criticize either by fear of threats like the case with the live leak site or by unfair ostracization of islamic critics by branding them as islamophobes and racists. The internet is flooded with well documented anti islamic material, which wilders film only shows small parts. The content of these sites easily convinces people that islam has problems adding more non muslims to a growing number % of anxious population! Mainstream media and political language pandering of islamic sensitivities exacerbates this anxiety, making many people feel that theirs worries are not represented! wilders movie is a welcome step to make this anxious population feel represented politically and by the media. Attempting to censor this or other anti islamic material will only increase tensions leading to even more spectacular cultural battles. In this sense, this propaganda movie will help defuse future confrontations and it’s a welcome release of tensions. Everyone here seems to support the movie not due to its high quality but because it gives good opportunity to infame Islam. The movie has used various verses of Quran to illustrate that Islam teaches terrorism. But wait. Do you believe everything that is in films. If that is so you must first go and watch Loose Change. If you believe that Fitna is right and that Islam indeed teaches terrorism, you must also believe that Loose Change is also right and that G.W.Bush and his allies were the ones behind the 9/11 attacks and not the AlQaeda. Thus when american government ( I am polite enuogh to use american govt intead of simply americans because I make distinction between the culprits and innocents)kills its own people and then attacks the muslim countries on false grounds, should the muslims not react. Millions have been killed in Afghanistan and Iraq, much much more than the death toll in the 9/11 & 7/7 attacks. So should not the Iraqis and Afghanis protect themselves? When they do protect themselves, they are labelled as terrorists. Why? The christain forces of NATO have attacked muslim countries without any valid reason. So why do you scream out when the muslims retaliate through attacks on NATO forces.

Contrary to the adage prevalent in the countries which advocate the freedom of speech that "Everything is fair in love and war", Islam gives directions to the contrary. In all the wars during his lifetime, Prophet Muhammad instructed his army not to kill women, children, or those men who did not pick up arms. He even forbade to destroy enemies crops. So how can Islam justify killing of innocent citizens.

For the peace loving people, Islam does not allow for their killing but instead Quran says "...... And if the warring people stop the offensive, escort them to safety". This is unparalled show of mercy. muslims are not only ordered to pardon the ones who resort to peace but also commands to escort them to safety. So how can Islam ask for indiscriminate killing of non-muslims.

The verse "And kill the non-believers wherever you find till the mischief is removed and faith is for Allah.", is taken out of context. It was revealed in battlefield, and at that moment it was natural for Allah to command the muslims to fight the enemies with full force. That is but a fundamental rule of war. However if the whole verse is read, the thing becomes much clearer. It is "And kill the non-believers wherever you find till the mischief is removed and faith is for Allah. But if the non-muslims offer a peace treaty, do not be among the ones who commit excess for Allah hates extremists".

Thus the film only exploits major events and Quranic verses out of context to defame Islam. My advice to all of you is that review the issues mentioned above with impartiality and you will see a clear picture of Islam.

Danish and Dutch futile attacks on Islam The North Wind was trying to demonstrate its stronger power over that of the sun by blowing so hard to make a man wearing a coat to take it off. Instead of removing his coat the man held tightly onto it. When the sun had its turn it just had to send warmth to make that man willingly take off his coat. From Aesop's fables. With the republishing of the so called "Mohammed cartoons" most Muslim websites and newspapers now exhibit signs displaying "except Mohamed" urging visitors and readers to boycott all Danish products. This public campaign has worked to the extent of making people detest any Danish product. Privately many Muslim leaders or Imams are gleaming with joy for the reaction that such provocative moves have caused and many of them can not remember any thing like it. They wonder whether is it a rekindled love or dormant emotions or feelings that have been awakened. These Imams have never seen such a show of love by the masses for prophet Mohamed, and now the stage is set for the anti-Koran film which perhaps would also reignite the interest in reciting the Quran. At the end of the day if these provocations turn out to be counter productive, should Muslims be thankful ? Certainly but not to Jyllands Posten or Geert Wilders. Instead they should be thankful to Allah who put at their disposal such an arrogant and ignorant enemy whose actions only served to strengthen their beliefs. Denmark has chosen to embrace the role of the whipping boy to whom all angry emotions are vented and Denmark is probably taking over the USA in one area, the country which has its flag suffer most frequent flag desecration or burning. So the previously respected Danish flag is now being widely used as a floor mat. Denmark followed by the Netherlands have chosen to be the football players who score the auto goal, or the soldiers who carry the guns that backfire. While Muslims are not happy with such provocations and do not appreciate these actions they are certainly grateful for the result. They may have thought that this is the best time to defeat Islam morally as it has so far resisted all attacks militarily. A similar situation where attacks have backfired was mentioned in the Quran in the chapter of light or "Sura Noor". There is a verse that refers to an incident when Aisha the wife of prophet Mohamed was accused of adultery. The verse says: "Those who have brought forth the false accusation were a group from within you. Do not think it is bad for you, for it is good for you. Every person amongst them will have what he deserves of the sin. And as for he who had the greatest portion of it, he will have a great retribution." This systematic attack on Islam has so far been directed towards the most sacred person in Islam; the prophet Mohamed and to the most sacred book the Quran. We should expect the next attack to be directed towards Makkah (Mecca ) the most sacred place for Muslims, where the Saudis would not welcome that attack publicly but privately would love to see millions of Muslims flock to Makkah exactly as the man wearing the coat was holding it tightly as the north wind blows stronger. One can not help but ask the question: What have the Danes or the Dutch gained from all of this? And have they ran out of other ideas to demonstrate the right for free press? Dutch politician Geert Wilders has put together all kinds of previously available clips from TV, internet, newspapers (Danish Mohammed cartoon), radical islamist soundbites and put this to music of Edvard Grieg. The intention is clear; scare-tactics with the message that the Islam shouldn't be met with tolerance, as it is intolerant to other religions. The style he uses is, awkwardly enough, the same as the extremist islamic groups use in their propaganda. Comments on the use of these images vary. Some compare it to the nazi-propaganda Der Ewige Jude - save for the use of rats as embodiment of muslims, others see it as a bad cut-and-paste job - probably better done by any second-grader with a PC and video-editing software. One big mistake is made when portraying Mohammed Bouyeri (killer of filmmaker Theo van Gogh). This turned out to be Dutch rapper Salah Edin portrayed as Mohammed Bouyeri. Geert Wilders did manage to keep Fitna within the limits of the law, although several lawsuits have been filed against it in the Netherlands already. He invokes freedom of speech as the highest good - allowing him to make this film. Anyone having problems with it should use the legal and civilized options at their disposal.

This movie is really out of content of the holy book "Al-Quran". It seems that there is a hidden link between Mr. Geert Wilders and making of that movie. The people in our world, as I guess should be aware that that religion has nothing to do with anything that was showsn in Fitna movie. For instance, it was recently proven that the 9/11 events were completely done by americans against americans. The passengers' list of the planes did not even include 1 name which could be arabian or even seems to be an islamic name. Also, one of the 19 hijackers is still alive in Saudia Arabia. All what happened, is that the hijackers disappered on that day of the 9/11 and noone knows where did these hijackers go. Hopefully, in particular the Europeans, will understand such facts.
