Description (as provided by the original submitter)

This file consists of an archive of www.lrh-books/mailings. These files, until recently, were available to anyone who knew to browse to that particular URL (which would present an Apache directory listing of the contents). This zip file consists these web pages, which were used in HTML mailings to people who were on Church of Scientology mailing lists. These are mostly marketing emails, but contain some level of detail about CoS operations. Inside the zip file, there is a README that goes into this in more detail.

1. This has not been posted before online, except for the URL which was apparently accidentally left open

2. This file is important because it includes 5 years of CoS marketing to its own members and includes excerpts of various internal CoS documents (mostly things like L. Ron Hubbard quotes used in marketing) The README details other uses for these files.

3. The audience is CoS critics etc, similar to your other recent Scientology leaks

4. You can verify some of the links via the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, but it seems to have inexplicably stopped indexing in 2007

5. It was leaked for maximum exposure of the Church of Scientology

6. The documents are somewhat timely given the recent Jason Beghe (celebrity ex-Scientologist) interview released today by Mark Bunker.
